The "Ethical Tsukiichi Marche" is held on the third Sunday of every month at Hisaya-odori Park in Nagoya City. It's a market where various shops from all over Japan gather, based on the concepts of upcycling and fair trade.
Think Scrap has been participating since 2022 and sets up a stall almost every month.
Last week, on Sunday, June 16th, the weather forecast unfortunately predicted rain, but contrary to the forecast, the weather was good, and the market was a great success, blessed with many vendors and customers.

However, after 4 PM, when the market was about to close, the predicted rain started to fall in sprinkles, and quickly turned into a downpour.
Our shop fixtures and products were all soaked and a sorry sight. Amidst this, Mr. Matsuda from the Tsukiichi Marche Committee, the organizer, took the initiative to help many vendors clean up and then silently tidied up the rented fixtures at the end.
I also helped with the cleanup, and the tents and wooden display fixtures, wet from the rain, were incredibly heavy...

It was a day that made me realize that the Ethical Tsukiichi Marche is built upon the organizer's extraordinary support.
