自動車用シートベルトを製造する過程では、どうしても使い切れない部分が発生します。THINK SCRAPでは、その素材を集め、色合いや状態を確かめながら、バッグや小物へと仕立てています。

本製品には、店舗や施設のテント、オーニングに使われる生地の端材を使用しています。屋外で使われることを想定してつくられながら、製造工程で残った素材です。

店舗や施設のテント、オーニングには、屋外で日差しや雨にさらされながら、長く空間を守る丈夫さが求められます。その製造過程で生まれた端材を、日常の道具へ生かしています。

ハリのある表情と、扱いやすさ

屋外テント用素材ならではのタフな質感と、ハリのある表情が特徴です。紫外線を遮る機能や耐候性を備え、樹脂コーティングによって水や汚れにも強い素材です。

・If dirt adheres, gently wipe it off along the grain with a soft cloth dampened with water or diluted neutral detergent and wrung out thoroughly.
・If detergent was used, wipe off the detergent residue with a damp, thoroughly wrung-out cloth.
・Remove moisture by pressing with a dry cloth, then air dry in the shade.
・After drying, gently brush the nap into place with a soft brush if necessary.
・Avoid washing with water or using a washing machine.
・Avoid using irons, dryers, hairdryers, etc.
・Refrain from using alcohol, bleach, benzine, paint thinner, etc., as they may cause discoloration or damage the texture.
