本体の生地は溶着によって接合し、持ち手や荷重のかかる要所にはシートベルトを使用しています。荷物を支える部分に適した素材と構造を採用することで、道具をまとめて持ち運びやすい設計に。各部の役割に合わせて素材を使い分けた、機能性を活かしたつくりです。

素材のこだわり

Seat Belt

Strength born to protect others.

This product uses scrap materials and other byproducts generated during Tokai Rika’s automotive seatbelt manufacturing process. These are materials that were produced to protect human lives but were never installed in vehicles.

What Remains Before We Take on a Role

During the manufacturing process of automotive seat belts, there are inevitably some leftover pieces that cannot be fully utilized. At THINK SCRAP, we collect these materials and, after checking their colors and condition, transform them into bags and small accessories.

Automotive-grade quality designed to last for over 10 years

The material used for seat belts is designed to last for more than 10 years in a car. The tensile strength of the material is approximately 3 metric tons (for reference). It also offers excellent light resistance and is durable enough to withstand long-term use.

About Individual Differences

Due to scuffs, creases, small scratches, and surface haze, the transparency and appearance of each piece vary slightly. Please enjoy these as unique characteristics of industrial materials.

トラック幌生地

雨風の中で、積み荷を覆い続ける。

本製品には、商用車の荷台を守るトラックシートやトラック幌に使われる、産業用帆布の端材を使用しています。

雨風から、積み荷を守る

トラックの荷台を覆う幌には、屋外で雨風にさらされながら、積み荷を守り続ける丈夫さが求められます。その製造過程で生まれた端材を、繰り返し使うバッグへ生かしています。

屋外使用を想定した耐候性と耐久性を備え、摩擦にも強い素材です。ハリとコシのある質感が、道具としての力強い表情をつくります。

透明テント生地

光を通しながら、現場を支える。

本製品には、建設現場の養生シートや防音カバーなどに使われる、光を通す産業用シートの端材を使用しています。

大きな現場を覆うための素材

建設現場で使われる養生シートやカバーには、広い範囲を覆いながら、破れにくく現場を支えられる強さが求められます。その製造過程で生まれた端材を、新しい用途へと生かしています。

丈夫さの中にある、透明な表情

高い強度を持ちながら、光をやわらかく通すことが特徴です。見る角度や光の当たり方によって表情が変わり、工業用素材の力強さの中に軽やかさを感じさせます。

個体差について

擦れや折れ跡、小さな傷、表面の曇りなどによって、透明感や表情は一点ずつ異なります。

資料

・For light soiling, gently wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water and wrung out tightly.
・For heavy soiling, hand wash with water or lukewarm water and a neutral detergent.
・If using detergent, rinse thoroughly to ensure no detergent residue remains.
・Avoid soaking, machine washing, spin drying, and dry cleaning.
・After washing, wipe off moisture with a dry cloth, reshape, and allow to air dry completely in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・Avoid using irons, dryers, hairdryers, etc.
・Do not use bleach, alcohol, benzene, thinners, etc., as they may cause discoloration or surface deterioration.
