Seat Belt
This product uses scrap materials and other byproducts generated during Tokai Rika’s automotive seatbelt manufacturing process. These are materials that were produced to protect human lives but were never installed in vehicles.
During the manufacturing process of automotive seat belts, there are inevitably some leftover pieces that cannot be fully utilized. At THINK SCRAP, we collect these materials and, after checking their colors and condition, transform them into bags and small accessories.
The material used for seat belts is designed to last for more than 10 years in a car. The tensile strength of the material is approximately 3 metric tons (for reference). It also offers excellent light resistance and is durable enough to withstand long-term use.
Due to scuffs, creases, small scratches, and surface haze, the transparency and appearance of each piece vary slightly. Please enjoy these as unique characteristics of industrial materials.
・Please use a neutral detergent or general laundry detergent.
・Reshape and allow to air dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated shade.
・Avoid using irons, tumble dryers, hair dryers, etc.
・Please refrain from using bleach, as it may damage the fabric.
